I finally checked off a little dream of mine. Education is so important to me & I have always felt drawn to share my talents with others. For months, I felt the need to start teaching, but I was stuck. What can I teach? What is the best venue? Where do I even start? Then, the answer came.
Earlier this month, I partnered with SSLetters & Catylator to host the first ever Laser Letters workshop. We had a intimate group of five wonderfully creative students. We discussed an overview of laser cutting, how it fits into the design process & best practice tips for hand lettering for laser cutting projects.
Each student created their own design to laser cut & got one-on-one feedback from me & Steve, the owner of Catylator, to ensure their pieces came out perfectly. My favorite part of the workshop was meeting talented creatives & watching their designs come to life. Each design was unique as it’s creator with its own distinct style. Check out their incredible work of my Laser Letters students below.
