In June, District Bliss hosted their June vendor social in Washington, DC. I had the opportunity to work with them as a Participating Vendors for the event, designing the attendee name tags & all of the signage for the event.
The Outrage, in the Adams Morgan neighborhood in DC, provided the perfect venue for the campaign-inspired vendor social. The name tags, signage & cupcakes all featured bold red, white & blue to embrace the theme & the evening's playlist featured an awesome girl power line up.
For the designs, I was inspired by vintage campaign buttons & created several design options for the team to select from. The team ultimately decided on a beautiful design with muted colors that really reflected the theme. Then, each name tag was cut out, hand lettered & handmade into the final buttons.
The same design was also used for the event & vendor signage & paired it with a bold, script typeface provide continuity & easy readability. My favorite part about this project was the opportunity to combine my graphic design & hand lettering skills to make a fantastic set of pieces that was unique & memorable for the attendees.
Making the event a success took the work of a great group of vendors & I am thrilled to have worked with them:
